Grace Refugee Welcome Team

Hi everyone,

an update on the Grace Refugee Welcome Team, working on the Welcome Home project to welcome a refugee family to our community in 2025.

Today we announced two fundraising initiatives.

Firstly- Goods in Kind
We will support this family to set up a household, so donations of things a family need would be appreciated. Good quality second hand or new. This includes things from coffee cups, a kettle, brooms, linen, etc to white goods and furniture. We have a list so please check with Tamara Bloomfield if you would like to contribute. At the moment we have no space to store donations so if you can keep them with you until we’re ready to hand them on to our family that would be great.

Secondly- Fundraising Page
Through a partnership with Australian Neighbour House Association we have a page for online donations which are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. If you;d like to take advantage of the tax break with your giving click on the button below to be taken to our page.
